Wal-Mart Drops DC Price

Several Wal-Mart stores have lowered the retail price of the Sega Dreamcast console.

Comments
Several Wal-Mart stores and the company's e-commerce web site have dropped the retail price of the Sega Dreamcast console to US$149.96. The console was essentially available at that price through a Sega of America rebate campaign, but after the Wal-Mart price drop, the Dreamcast can now be bought directly at that US$149.96 price. This independent Wal-Mart price drop has further fueled speculation of an official price reduction by Sega of America in the near future. Representatives for Sega could not comment on those rumors or the Wal-Mart price drop.
