12,000 covenant killed every minute!!!! Wow!!!!

The Covenant were totally asking for it. I'm personally not a big halo fan, but i have to say...Grunts are adorable. I wish i could have a real grunt as a pet. I would name him "Dr. Tickles" and give him a plasma pistol and watch him play with the neighborhood kids.

Oh yeah! And another thing. The covenant are alot stronger in the books too! Eg: A brute went 1 on 1 against Master Chief (aka John, Spartan 117) and almost won (that was a real part in the third book, if i remember properly). And a high ranked elite went 1 on 1 against Master Chief too, and the same thing happened, Master Chief walked away but wounded. In the game, you can take out heaps of covenant without any tactics, just charge in and shoot, but in the books, the Spartans have to use their brains to win (and they usually do).

"No wonder why the Covenant always lose!" Actually mate, in the books, the Covenant are winning, pretty badly too. The humans have few victories, and most of them are because of the Spartans. In the games, the covenants plasma weapons are pretty weak and ineffective, and the human weapons are generally more reliable, but in the books its a whole other story. Eg: One graze across your arm from a plasma pistol will melt half of it off.

Airshocker, it seems you don't understand the Assault rifle at all. I'm guessing you let the bullets fly out and not do burst shot. Like any machine gun, it's more accurate to do burst shots then a full on trigger squeeze. And besides, Assault rifle is intended for close range, hell..I can kill shotgunners with an AR. Bascically all you do is run the guy, and shooting him and melee him when he gets close, if your fast enough you can get him and stay alive and not double K.O each other

the campaign is the best thing in halo 3, in my opinion, unlike the mp. Besides, its more known than gears or cod

Becayse Epic or Treyarch dont care that much for their community unlike Bungie who listen to their fans and actually make updates and release map packs that are actually fun to play. Tbh ive never downloaded a gears of war map because apparently its not available on my region ( i live in the US) And infinity war are not trying to make new map packs because of MW 2 but i still loved COD 4

Not really any point in putting it in the news. You don't see Gears of War 2 in the news saying "10 billion Locust killed" or Call of Duty World at War saying "10 billion Nazi Zombies killed", so why Halo 3? The campaign isn't even anything special for a start.

and this doesnt even count those people who have played the game but are not connected to XBOX Live. so we could probs add another billion or so....

@Wolfie600 Halo 3 doesn't have the most accurate aiming system around. With a BR it doesn't take a whole clip, but a lot of people aren't fantastic with the BR and just go for the assault rifle which is pretty damn weak unless you're constantly hitting the guy in the face.

People that say they need a full clip to kill someone on halo must suck alot.. and tbh this is actually cool and the ones posting comments like "and i care why?' are just trying to look cool. Gratz all the halo 3 players that killed a covenant on the journey to Halo. Now i am wondering how many covenant have been killed since the first Halo D:

REA24409 "What's so great about Halo. Halo2 was the best out of all of them but I don't think the Halo series is that great. I played it and it's just annoying, it takes a whole magazine to kill one person. If you like games where you can jump really high into the air and stay alive for a long time shooting mindlessly than this is the game for you. If not then I would not get it. >__>" O.O It takes you a whole clip for you to kill a another guy? It takes me less than a half of a clip usually. I don't want to offend, but you must be pretty bad. Don't judge a game on how long it takes to kill an enemy cause that time can easily be cut down. Anyway, that's the point of having 2 weapons xP I don't insult games like Killzone , or GoW because I don't have much skill at them.
