My 45th review after Donkey Kong: Barrel Blast.
Mario is back with an excellent 2D game, awesome multiplayer action and cool graphics. Any 2D fans must get this game if they have a Wii. It's excellent, it's really excellent. It also brings me memories of the old 2D Mario games. This game will get an A+! Here the results:
Voice-acting 10/10: When it comes to a game with great voices, that's what makes the game solid.
Game-play 9/10: When it comes to an action game with multiplayer, it's fun to play with up to 4 friends, but what would've been nice is that they should've put Wario and Waluigi as well as Peach and Daisy instead of Blue and Yellow Toad. Also the level design is amazing.
Graphics 10/10: The graphics are pretty cool and are in high quality.
Controls 8/10: Simple. 1 to Use Item, 2 to Jump, there plenty of cool new power-ups.
Sound/Music 8/10: It all sounds the same from the first which was on the Nintendo DS.
Lasting Appeal 9/10: This can be an excellent game for 2D fans.
Overall, New Super Mario Bros. Wii is an excellent game for all 2D and platforming fans.
The Good:
-Nice case and disc
-Cool graphics
-Simple controls
-Terrific music
-Has replay value
-Difficulty is pretty challenging
-Amazing level design
The Bad:
-They should have put Wario and Waluigi as well as Peach and Daisy instead of Blue and Yellow Toad
-You cannot play the game with the Classic Controller or the GameCube controller
