"Dont fix it if it aint broke"

User Rating: 9.5 | New Super Mario Bros. Wii WII
New Super Mario Bros Wii combines the power of nostalgia with addictive gameplay that anyone can enjoy. Is this game innovative? No, an astounding game that pleases the eyes? Not exactly. But not a single person can say they did not have fun stomping on goombas or beating on bowsers in the eight (or nine) worlds. In my opinion this game is best played with two people. You can help each other out and it doesnt really matter whether one person is a novice, your both experienced, or you both purely suck; The enjoyment received from this game is inescapable. You have dozens of secret areas, passages, exits, unlockables and tasks to manage combined with the very casual nature of the game allowing you to pick it up when ever you want. When i firs got this game i was up with my sibling for hours attempting to beat it in one night. While that may be doable i need to sleep. Anyways, this fact of playing it through once does not diminish the value of playing a level again as i go through the levels trying to collect star coins. You become embarrassingly proud of yourself for learning all of the locations of the secret blocks by heart without any help from the internet. .Agree with me or not, but this game has brought me more pleasure than any other game to come out for a long while, theres no problem with taking a walking down memory lane once awhile anyways.
