mario to me should be 1 player dont want to play multiplayer mario with friends. boost mode is stupid. there not innovating to me mario64 was innovating compared to previous ones. i liked mario64 more than galaxy there just not pushing graphics and enviroment to explore

how do they get away with the graphics looking the way they do? seriously it's mind boggling that this is what they've come up with with all that graphical power going to waste

The only change the levels each time but it's just so fun to play up to 4

I actually enjoy New Super Mario Bros but it does feel like it's fairly similar. Between Super Mario Bros, Super Mario Bros. 3 and Super Mario World, those games felt very different. NSMB all feel very similar. Maybe the level design has the 4 player co-op in mind so that's why the way it is but regardless, each game feels like the other.
