2 Like thats stupid this could actually be a fun game for the 3ds but they ruin it with a coin collecting game...
I think collecting more and more coins and trying to get higher and higher score might be extremely addicting.
3 Like how is collecting coins going to keep ur interest coins are the last thing i really care about in a mario game. i guess an 8 yr old might like it seriously come on give us 3d platforming adventure.
3 Like "Oh cool! They've thrown out the series' trademark skill based, challenging platforming in favor of coin collection and overpowered items!", said nobody ever. Seriously it looks like they're basing the reason for playing on getting a high score. That stopped with Atari for a reason. It's boring and pointless.
I'll probably buy it assuming it is as good as the first one on DS. I agree that they seem to be focusing way too much on coins - and that it hopefully won't effect the other all atmosphere.
Wii U has got a Mario title in a few months, & the 3ds carries more prominence than the ds range now I'm afraid.
2 Like i been a mario fan since the 80's, but this is stupid. the game is about getting coins? so let me guess you get infinite lives. i was looking forward to getting this game too. what a waste.
I just hope they don't pay that "1 million coins concept" too much attention, so that the main adventure falls flat.
