Boros here, and I want to talk about a game that was released 3 times including this one. New Super Mario Bros. 2 is a game for the DS, Wii, and 3DS, and it's the same formula as a game from the NES decade, with graphical updates, and the ability to jump off of the walls, but maybe I'm not giving enough credit. NSMB 2 isn't technically the same as the ones from the DS and Wii.

There are coins everywhere in this one, and there's a new power up which helps you get coins, so there's a greater emphasis on coins, but there's still the rule of 100 coins = 1 life, so the game is much easier than the other 2. Not like the other games were ball-busters, either, so this is like turning a stroll in the park, to a cozy nap on a hammock held by beautiful, sexy women putting grapes into your mouth.

This game is too easy. I was powering through to beat this version of NSMB, not really caring what got in my way, and I beat it in 4 hours with 186 lives by the end. Either it's too easy, or I have the infinite power of the gaming gods.

Other than that, there's not much to say about this other than it's the same as the other 2. If you played the other two, then you don't need this one. One thing I should point out is that if you haven't played any of the other New Super Mario Bros. games, then this will be very enjoyable. If you're thick, though, have played or own one of the others, and just want to play the same Mario game again, then I guess it will quench your very odd thirst, until they release this game for a 4th time for the Wii U. Sensible people should skip it if you own the Wii or DS versions.
