There were a lot of people who didn't really think this was that great for a Mario game, well I thought it was pretty good sure it wasn't the best Mario game I've ever played but it had some changes. The main focus of the game is obviously getting to the end of the goal like you would usually do in a Mario game. They added tons of coins in this installment for you to collect, and I think that was a really great part to the game there were a lot of fresh new ideas and new abilities first off you have the new golden fire flowers this ability is just like the regular fire flower except this one shoots out gold coins and when you shoot at Goomba's, Koopa's, etc. they will give you coins when it hits them, there is also a gold block that stays on Mario's head and when you run and jump coins will come out of it, and there are also gold rings you can jump through which makes all your enemies gold and you can get coins from them after you jump on them, there are also many areas where coins will come out, I truly love these parts of the game it makes each level really fun, and makes you really want to try to collect all the coins in the level. Each boss has minor differences but really mostly are the same, but hey what would you expect in a Mario game, they weren't bad, but they could have definitely been improved. There are only 6 worlds and probably about 7 levels in each so that makes 42 levels that's a decent amount of levels and most of them are pretty good, if you are looking for a really difficult Mario game though you are definitely not going to find it in this installment of Mario, while I don't mind it not being a difficult game, it just makes you get through the game much faster and I guess that's ok.

Overall if you like Mario this game won't disappoint you unless you are looking for a challenge, this game is worth playing though and I don't understand why so many people are so hard on this game I enjoyed it and thought it was a good installment to the Mario series.
