Not For Everyone, but this proves to be entertaining, for the most part.

User Rating: 7 | Neopets: The Darkest Faerie PS2
Neopets: The Darkest Faerie is set in Meridell and Brightvale. This game was made by Idol Minds, a copany that gets little respect, but this game still proves to entertain us. Zelda and Ractcht & Clank fans should try this game out.

The Good- Nice Characters, fun grapics and great music.
The Bad-Bad Fighting system and countless glictches.

Story-
Agg, this story ain't too creative, but It's passable. An evil Dark Faerie that is nameless has come back from being stone and is hear to conquor Neopia. Two heros recive amulets that protect them from Dark Magic. Tor (A lupe, or a fox-like animal) is a knight-that-used-to-be-a-hillbilly and a close range fighet while Roberta, a princess sorceris(a blue acara, or a cat like creature) uses a wand to blast the enemies.

Grapics-
These are very simple, but passable. They fit the cartoony Disney like-enviorment, but They are like beggining PS2 grapics, but the cut-scenes are horrible. They looks like claymations. That's All I need to say.

Sound-
Wonderful music that fits it's enviorment, sound effecs are okey, and all of the voice acting is done in the cut scenes (Aka CLAYMATIONS!!!) most of the voices fit, but Roberta sounds Like and 8 year old.

Gameplay-
This isn't the games strong point. You have 1 button to attack--- ONE BUTTON! And the continuous worlds are very boring to run through. I Don't see why they put an extra run button like in Sly 2 and 3, but oh well.

Glitches?
YES. The sound Flickers on and off. One of the bosses sometimes don't work, and if I name them all you will cry.

Let's remember that not everything is bad. The story was cute, and anyone could go with that. The many quests can amuse you for some while, and the best part about them is that they take a while to compleate most of the time.

This game isn't for everyone, though. It's almost gaurenteed for Neopets fans, and If you don't play Neopets and like Zelda or Rachet & Clank, you should try it out, rent it, anything.
