Sun Amusement changes name to SNK NeoGeo

Playmore takes additional steps to revive the SNK brand.

Sun Amusement, a subsidiary of Playmore, has officially changed its company name to SNK NeoGeo. Sun Amusement is the distributor of Playmore's arcade games in Japan and also operates Playmore's arcade chain stores. While Playmore has opened divisions in the United States and Asia under the SNK NeoGeo name, the company has been operating for more than a year in Japan under the former title.

Playmore is currently working on SNK vs. Capcom: SVC Chaos and Metal Slug 5 for the NeoGeo.
