This game really sucks. All it has going for it is graphics, but other than that, it's a terrible game. In this game, putting a big airplane wing and an intake makes your car go a quarter mile in 5 seconds. It also has something I call the slingshot effect, or what most people call rubber-band AI. All the cars are economy cars that most ricers say are "mad tite", and in real life, they go slow (with the exception of the Skyline and RX7).
The graphics are pretty decent, but graphics mean nothing. The physics are horrible. The only reason why this game is rated so good and considered "the titeness" is because it has a bunch of ugly body kits and other things that appeal to pop culture and materialistic teenagers.
If you want a good street racing game, get any of the Tokyo Xtreme Racer games, or Need for Speed Most Wanted, which is leaps and bounds better than both of the Underground NFS games.

With its strange lack of online play, the XBOX version isn't as as good at its PS2 counterpart, but it looks better.
