I have this game and like it quite a lot but I don't like this review too much, it's just like alec_e1382 said, the reviewer is way too nitpicky about stuff, not to mention he once again puts down the gamecube console, he doesn't know what the heel he's talking about, the gamecube was way more powerful then the ps2 and almost on par with the xbox.The gamecube version on this game is not slow in frame rate at all and its better lokking then the ps2 version cause ive seen it and played on ps2 , trust me the gamecube is better the version.

its a great game. however here and there it is kind of scratchy and has its annoying downs

Eh, I really don't agree with this review or score. And that's the first time I've said that about gamespot. It seemed too nitpicky. Pointing out flaws that don't matter or don't affect gameplay.

This game is good on its own right. If only the open world is more engaging and exciting and the afterthough of cops would of made this worth playing but the closest to this with cops is NFS Carbon. Nevertheless, this should be part of my collection.
