Need for speed series, RIP. This is not the serious I fell in love with back when It came out with Road & Track.
Hot pursuit 1 was better then 2 because you could customize your vehicle. Porsche Unleashed is miles ahead of this boring hum attempt of a driving game.
I do give this new serious attempt(underground, & MW) a star for effort. I do like what they are trying to do. They do manage to bring the game together as a whole but that's about it.
Lets rewind. First I recklessly went out and bought NFS:MW for pc. Ouchhhh. no dead zone destined it to fail from the start. In my review I mentioned that it was made for the console. So now I had the chance to try underground2 on GC.
Graphics are lacking and the comic book cut scenes are uninspired.
I can't get over the poor physics. I would probably have more fun driving around in Mario's kart then in a nfs vehicle.
Sound wise the game is pretty good. Different events and the length of the game is another pro but when you our driving something that is comparable to a hover car on rails, all that amounts to nothing. I enjoyed if for 10 minutes
Okay I am done being a broken record on this series.
