Like most people who like to race on consoles, I own most of the older Need for Speed series games. Not all of them have been winners, but there have been a few that just stood out above the rest of the crowd to be called great. This game is not one of them. Do not get me wrong, the game itself is quite fun, and I still play it to this day, but it really seems to distract from the racing part of the game. With the ability to modify your car to almost an unlimited number of variants, including spiinners, carbon fiber parts(that though in real life decrease the weight of the vehicle, but in the game only changes the style), spoilers, etc., etc. A person could almost lose sight of what racing games were truly about. Again, fun game, just not as fun as it could have been.
