Need for Speed Undercover User Review
- Difficulty:
- Just Right
- Time Spent:
- 20 to 40 Hours
- The Bottom Line:
- "Too short"
Well. The game is actually pretty good.
The only bad thing about the PS2's version is that it's too short and got bad graphics.
Compared to the PC version it's really short.
It still got the same game engine as the: Need for Speed: Most Wanted. Which is good because Pro Street and Carbon sucked.
Cops Chases: They are similar to Most Wanted. Cops are still dumb but a little bit smarter then the previous versions. You can drive through spike strips and still keep going if your car is good enough. In the previous games the car just went like 20 MPH.
Story: Simple, all you gotta do is smash some cars and do some races every now or then. I really liked the Driver Jobs. They were exciting, but the timed ones were hard.. The hardest mission probably was the one with Carmen. 5 Chinese or Japanese guys were trying to wreck her car and you needed to take them out before they take out Carmen.
Driving: It's really cool to drive in this game. Really smooth turning makes the game a lot easier.
The cars:Nothing special.. really bad tuning options and only 10-15 cars if I'm right.
Overall: This game deserves 7/10 because the lack of storyline and cars...

Have fun driving like a maniac in cars you'll never afford, all the while trying to avoid the police.

For PS2, this game is TOTAL REMAKE of Need for Speed : Most Wanted. Better play Most Wanted.
