If you take the ''f'' out of ''Shift'' the title succeeds in passing the test of time, but the actual game doesn't.

Need For Speed is awesome, Need For Speed: Shift is NOT awesome, NFS returns as a simulator, us fans never asked for a simulator, and even if we wanted one, we would've sticked with Forza or PGR. Now, let's get to the actual review.

The game does not have a storyline, unlike other NFS games, this is just a simulator, race for money, buy crap and more cars, race for more money and blah. It would be fun if the game had police, but that's not gonna happen because the character you play as and the opponents ARE ALLOWED TO STREET RACE, there are street blockings for the audience, URBAN. Not what you would expect Urbanly in an NFS game.

Why is this game a simulator? there shouldn't be street blockings, NFS games are about breaking the law, and it's fun, unlike this game. I quote another fellow reviewer who has a similar perspective as I: ''NFS stands for Not Fun Simulator in this game''.
It's impossible not to crash into walls, and whenever you drive fast, it's fun, but only lasts for 2 seconds before you crash into a wall.

If there are any game hackers out there, yous should edit the game and changed everything that's related to NFS in this game and change it to PGR, because that's what this game is, it's a pirate of PGR1

Bottom line: NFS: Shift walks the plank.
