Well, i must say that EA tried hard to save its franchise so it is worth playing.

I might have scored this game 9.0 if I hadn't played Codemasters GRID. Although graphics and music of this game is quite fantastic but this game seriously lags behind GRID in physics and car sounds. The car slides when you apply brakes and there is no point in sliding when your car has an ABS with EBD control. Car doesn't turn easily if you play with keyboard. But, if you forget all of reality for a moment then this game has a lot of variety to offer that you will not find in any contemporary race sim. This game has very nice visual presentation with real-time monitoring of your race style and progress, the badge system is unique. Career mode is very impressive with variety of races especially international events.
This game might be immersive for a new comer but for people who have been playing GRID and GTR2, this game does not deliver what it promises.
