If they let me crash against other cars without the whole slow motion crash crap I'll be happy...I want an arcade game...yes, I like my arcade racing games to be like a pinball machine...if I want simulation I won't be playing NFS. Hopefully they will undo a lot of crap Criterion did to NFS...

5 Like I've been playing NFS games since childhood, and I'm hoping they will truly help the franchise back into gear. The newer Hot Pursuit was fun, but I did miss being able to customize my car and the feeling of true speed. Because tbh you should feel like you're going too fast at over 200 km/h. Only you didn't.
Still excited though, can't wait to see if this will be a game for me.

Is it really that difficult to understand the need of an improved successor of NFSMW for EA or they just play dumb and ignore fan ideas? None of the NFS titles they released recently that I complete more than 15%. Even worse when it fell into the hand of Criterion, a goddamn Burn Out in the shell of NFS, every single crash is being exaggerated like hell.
customizing better be a big part of this game why in the hell was it not in any since underground is beyond me.
Why do so many studios use Dells? My brother-in-law replaces his Dell every two years because something goes wrong with it and I can't understand why he still buys Dell.
1 Like (Sigh) It would be so cool if someone made a need for speed title with open world elements that actually allowed the driver to get out of the car and interact with random npcs. Also with the option of engaging in other activities that would enrich the need for speed experience while making the street racing world more real. There has to be somebody who can envision this and achieve it.
@bubba_1988 @jlsgamespot I respect that. I have NFS MW, Carbon & Undercover. There is something about the rush of speeding in this franchise. However, I want to do more than race. Maybe GTA V might fill that gap, partly. I don't know of any open world game that provides that same NFS feel of speed and street racing car mechanics. It's that early Fast and Furious type feel that NFS has nailed. I will wait and see what this one is about.

Why is the next gen version shipping later than the 360/PS3/pc version? Shouldn't the pc version ship with the next gen version? Sounds like the pc version will get the port of the old consoles while the next gen systems will get a better looking version.
Even though they mention about a single player campaign so much, it's probably just a few races just to say there's Singleplayer.
But If this game has good singleplayer campaign (with a story), customization and that Multiplayer they keep babbling about, yes this might be a game worth buying. I don't keep my hopes up though.
4 Like Thank god they've finally taken this franchise away from Criterion. Maybe this one will be an actual NFS game, rather than a reskinned Burnout obsessed with 'social features'.

Why cant they release a good Need For Speed... Most Wanted was awesome but they cant do the math and give people what they want.
Confession bear: I actually like the nfs games just because they're unrealistic because I am unable to drive a car.
1 Like what would be amazing if they had proper sim like controls and physics, but have it in the arcadey theme. A full race with cops but the handling was FULL sim style, where your skill matters.

Shift 2 was the last NFS I played which was worth playing....and this one doesnt look half that good

Are we getting manual gearboxes back? Pretty pointless to play with G27 otherwise. And PC version isn't next-gen? Or is the difference so subtle that PS4 and Xbox One versions are like PC version anyway?
