Surprisingly good.

User Rating: 8.5 | Need for Speed: Nitro WII
Ahhh, another year, another Need For Speed. Yup its tradition and but 2009 EA released 2 different Need For Speeds. Shift and Nitro, I played Shift and thought it was decent, but the one thing I didn't expect is that Nitro is basically Shift but on wii and with its own little twist. The two things that really takes away from the experience thought is that there are only 6 race types (Circuit, Drag, Drift, Time Trial, Speed Trap, & Elimination) Drift, Time trial and speed trap are surprisingly difficult, but doable. My personal favorite is the Elimination where the person in last place is eliminated every 30 seconds until there is a winner. These races don't really get old very soon though, with new tracks every once in a while it keeps it new and fresh.

Pros.
- Elimination, Circuit, and Drag races are a lot of fun
- Addicting
- Decent Car Selection
- Pushes 60 Frames a second on the Wii, not many games do that
- Smooth Controls no matter which of the 4 or 5 schemes you use.
- Cartoony graphics give you a need for speed experience you have never had before
- Awesome multiplayer
- you can do multiplayer in career mode
- It has cars that Need For Speed has never even dared to put in their games (One of the first cars you can get is a hippie van)

Cons.
- Load screen gets really annoying (they aren't too long, just annoying)
- Only 30 cars to chose from
- Only 6 race types
- Cops are insanely annoying, they will create roadblocks and then not even chase you in some races

Really this game gives you a racing experience that you have never had, the graphics are crisp and nice. It is an awesome game that I highly recommend for anyone who likes racing games.
