this new playstation store design and layout is fuking horrible, seriosly who ever designed it should change his job, cause you are bad, And only 3 letters to find something, bullshitt, i type in e and it comes up with SHITT that dont even start with fuking e. FUKING BAD DESIGN. and now i got some singstar crap on ps3 and i cant delete it,
sony has the absolute worst layouts ever they keep complaining about losing money its prob because nobody can fucking find anything. they dont even have the games in category anymore there just all in one page and take forever to load.
I'm incredibly much faster using the default T9 keyboard, this search system is crappy like the one they offer in the new Youtube app for PS3..... -.-

Im sorry, but who ever designs these interfaces should be fired. The original store is awful, the XMB seems like 1997and this is even worse
3 Like Digital copies... how the hell are they so expensive?!
£49.99 = just over 80 US Dollars!! I've had a quick glance on Gamestop any they've got Dishonored for $59.99.

The store is fine but why oh why have you moved the trophy's to the PSN menu from the Game menu??!! I was playing xcom last night and I popped a trophy so I thought I would have a look which ones I have left, now before when it was on a game menu you just pressed the PS button and had a look, now its on the PSN menu I pressed it and it started to sync!! arghhhhhh I have over 3000 trophies it took 5-10mins to sync then 10mins to download them all once they came up so it took me 20minutes nearly just to see what else I needed!!! WTF!! you can imagine my frustration, you should have left it where it was or at least told it to ask whether you want to sync or not!
Perhaps if I try to log out of PSN then check then log back in it will not sync but that is still more inconvenient than before, they should have left it where it was :(

@Leefx Having to sync whenever you want to look at trophies is the reason I don't care about them at all. It's too much of an annoyance to wait every time you want to check something.
I don't care for it. The old one worked fine. Search left a bit to be desired though......
christ, at least check it out first before hitting record and doing a feature on it, so you can at least talk like you know whats going on. waste of time.
Looks cleaner than the Xbox cluttered dash. Also has no ads which is a plus. They should think about redoing the whole dash. I dig it.
The design is nice but it doesn't look very good for practical usability... I suppose that it why they prefered to delay the launch of the american version, so they could fix hat had to be fixed.
This was sorely needed, but I haven't used the PSN store for more than a year, simply because I got an error every time I tried to buy something or add money to my wallet. If that isn't fixed, then there isn't really any point in having an online store.
nice overhaul. wish they did an xmb dash update as well. yea the streaming trailers should be on every piece of content imo
Can anybody answer a question? Does it means that now we can buy every games released on the PSX store or is it just like before that you are limited to a small list of games to be bought online?
Great they have a new interface to solicit more of our money. They would not invest in anything new, unless they earned more than it was worth... or a profit.
Another step in refusing to give consumers a independent working copy of software they pay for, just access until the end of the unilateral contract that we must agree to AFTER we pay.
What happens when the PS store gets a contract it does not like or has a problem with a game company, will they not carry it like steam?

Thank gawd they updated the store. It was horrible before. Although... "looks a little bit like xbox" is a tremendous understatement. This will be very funny to see how to ps3 fans that said the xbox dash sucks are gonna justify this.. lol I can't believe there are already comments on here saying "no it doesnt look like the xbox dashboard/marketplace. :D
1 Like I think you just click download, and it'll give you the option to stream. At least, that's how it worked on the old PS Store...
price mark on the digital content is the key, I love the idea of cloud gaming but the price point kept me away from PSN. I only use steam for my digital service, cause they get it and done it right. A digital copy should not be the same as a retail price, thats the bottom line. If I can get the same game with the price in the store, why should i buy it on PSN? I can always re-sale the retail copy but i can never do that with digital copy, and that is worth the trouble to go to a Bestbuy.
Besides the fact that the digital copies on the store are always £10 more than retail price, wtf is that all about?
2 Like Its way to expensive to buy off PSN its silly. A Digital copy should not cost more than a hardback copy under any circumstances. The same or less or not at all thanks! I will never buy a new game from PSN! Never have and i never will at this rate disgusting pricing.
The new interface is great thankfully on a positive note just pointless when the majority of items are overpriced.
@jwsoul A lot of the stuff is less than hard copies. Like borderlands 2. I still like my hard copies more though.
@jwsoul They used to ask $ 15 for ape escape on the loose. I spent $5 for xmas getting it a few years back. Its still $10 now on the store. They also ask $10 for primal, its $3 in stores. It's so overpriced it's not worth it.
