the burnout has stopped and emerged into need for speed. The don't have imagination and they take games from the past to support.  nuff said.

 There racing games with cars, theres not too much they can do with that media, unless you make a Death Race style of game

GEARS OF MANUAL!!!.... They did it in 1994 in the original for 3DO. I'm sure in 2012 you can figure it out. Thanks.

more burnout the better cause nfs hot pursuit let me down, but burnout paradise was open world and that wasent cool either

I hated open racing game, like burnout paradase and mindnigth club angeles  suck, hot pusuit, the run were good

 I agree, man.  I grew up with NFS 1, 2, 3: Hot Pursuit.  NFS 3: Hot Pursuit at the slickest soundtrack of any game I've ever played.  I'm pretty sure Romulus 3 defined my music tastes.

I find them okay and enjoyable. Some of my first PS2 games were Midnight Club 1 and Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit 2. Midnight Club was an open-world kind of racer and Need for Speed was a linear racing game. I liked them both.
