Need for speed is really not what it used to be

This is EXTREMELY similar to burnout paradise. This is kinda scary. Where's the story plot? Remember that in Most wanted 2005? So they just kinda put you on the Blacklist for no reason in this one? What happened to being able to start out with a car, earn money, customization and all that? What's with this thing EasyDrive thing? I don't like it at all. You're just driving and you basically find cars on the side of the road? that's not fun at all. I like being able to earn money and buy the cars. Most wanted from 2005 was hands down the best NFS. I was expecting this one to almost be a re-make of it and this is not what I expected at all. EA, do you not listen to the community? Honestly, i'm afraid to buy a new NFS every time a new one is released. I only got this because of the black friday sale. I was extremely weary about buying this. And CHECKPOINTS? come on, really?

So the races are fun, I like the city. I like all the stunt jumps and whatever. The game looks very crisp on my 720p TV. it can have some frame rate issues though, but it's a nice looking game. Not too crazy about these pit stops, and the damage affects the car in no way no matter how damaged it gets. For this EasyDrive thing, you don't buy the parts, you win them from certain races. I really dislike this, it's too easy and there's basically just no currency.

The cops are slightly better and it gives you a bit more of a challenge. There are no more helicopters though. But I enjoy how they're a bit more aggressive than in the 2005 most wanted. Overall though, the game is pretty easy. The races are not very challenging but I guess it's fun for someone who is not so experienced with racing games.

Honestly though, it just doesn't feel the same. I'm just very disappointed with this release and I really can't say I was expecting better. You're definitely not gonna expect a complete re-make of the first Most Wanted. I seriously don't recommend this. Rent it first.
