I got this game yesteray and managed to quickly get into a over 15 minutes long, level 6 pursuit. With no pursuit breakers or time breakers from the first game, how do I run away? I mean, I could take down police cars but I risk taking myself out... so... what do?

Drive as fast as you can, make sharp turns, and once you break away into Cooldown find a nice corner and turn off your engine. There are no pursuit breakers in this game.

You can actually hide in a corner with the engine turned off. Once they past you, you flee again.

On cooldown you can also escape & end the chase by going on those garage who also change the color of the car.

There is also that place with the 3 giant yellow rings you can jump through with the ramps...But instead of jumping into the ramps, you can drive up to the area under the rings, take cover behind the wall and wait out the time, assuming the cops didn't see you drive into the area. If they didn't see you drive into the area and you drive in there alone, just park your car there till the cool down ends, which ended my very long 12 minute chase. (The cops will circle in the driveway around that area but not drive into that area you're in so you'll just see their car arrow randomly spin)

    - Ramp stunts on high speed (they fail hard sometimes)
    - Slight slalom drive on tight area with lots blockades (cops suck at this)
    - Do tight turns or misdirection and turn to one way route (mostly on freeway interchange and chance of escape is good if done correctly)

When the alert circle is out of range, full brake on a good easy escape spot and turn engine off. It will reduce heat fast. I like do that with Bugatti because of its crazy acceleration and speed, if the cops get close in i can start engine and escape fast before they corner me.

If there's paint shop around, drive through fast and will instant reduce heat level by 1x.

That's it for me. I thought about using offroad tyres and escape the cops on rail road etc but never really tried it.

There is a "pursuit breaker," it's just difficult to attain.

If you get outside of the circle of pursuit that's shown on the map and drive through a paint shop, the pursuit will clear.

I meant something like destroying something nearby to get rid of the cops near you, but still, thanks

And thank you guys for the tips! The "turn off the engine" is the one I really wouldn't think about O.o

It doesn't clear the pursuit if you're Level 2 Heat or higher, as all the paint shop does is knock it down by 1 level.

look Drive Crazily but avoid crashing into obstacles, destroy cops and be smart and fast, if u get into a pursuit with a very much used car then start a race and just quit it you'll very much save yourselves from getting busted, but SP is lost.

I just read in the manual that switching your car on jackspots without being seen is instant end of a pursuit. Just a heads-up for others with the same problem
