Nfs hot pursuit 2 on the ps2 the best game ever Most Wanted on Ps2 2nd Nfs World On Pc Online 3rd 4rth carboon Need For Speed Hot pursuit 3 1 of the worst nfs games what is Ea Doing?
@manishpab nfs:hot persuit DOES have a free roam, but its pointless, u cant find events, repair ur car, get cars or anything. its basically just there to fuck with the cops OUTSIDE of races.
I have to be honest, I was extremely dissapointed when I got this game (40 minutes ago, may I add). I've only ever play NSF Underground 2, so I assumed that all of the games in the NSF series would have a free roam, I personally think that the best thing about these games is the free roaming and when I found out that it was just racing, and that the races only last about 3-4 minutes, I was devestated. Don't get me wrong, the gameplay is still amazing and I love destroying people, but I'd much rather do it in free roam.
This is the best need for speed since underground 2 imo the only issue i have with this game is no splitscreen other than that its a really awesome game.
Gs- this does appear on PC as well. How are the frame rates there, the control, is it a good game or a crappy port for PC-? I don't usually have time for written review (2pages usually) but it only takes a few seconds to mention these details in a video.
u know i've been playin this recently and i didnt like it at first, but after a short time i played 2 races, then 3 and on... now im addicted!! i donno how this game does this to you. and criterion is recognizable throughout the game. and it is really NEED for SPEED, addictive indeed...
this game is awesome, but wait, WTF!?! NO SPLITSCREEN?! i bought this game to play with my friends, but not those on the other side of the world, those in my couch next to me!
now i wish for one time in ps3 lifetime: TEST DRIVE: EVE OF DESTRUCTION plz. i want a game just like the gameplay of that in freemode the handbraking and 180 deg. was so real and fun man i wish i can play again [PS2 INITIALZING...]
this or dirt 3 the singleplayer of this looks way better but the multiplayer of dirt 3 looks great but this multiplayer looks fun too. ahh decisions decisions
what.a.C! need 5-10 times to beat timetrial to get gold medal on first stages. this is the first such NFS game in my experience since 1997. complete unplayable boring cr*p.
Need for Speed III: Hot Pursuit, Need For Speed: High Stakes, Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit 2, Need For Speed: Most Wanted, and this. Best games in the franchise in my opinion.
8.5 is hard to believe unless he is rating multiplayer. The AI in single player are designed to beat you/fight you for lead no matter what (you can junk them and they will pass you 5 seconds later, they speed by you at full speed then slow down for you) until the 1 mile left marker, then all the AI cars like clockwork just start to coast so you can win. A game that has such mechanics built in to the AI can only get such a score on multiplayer.
This isn't need for speed folks. Nothing of the sort. This is a business decision. Is it a good product? Of course it is! Burnout 3 Takedown was an amazing game. This is criterion's million-dollar baby.... with cop cars. I give praise where praise is due, but c'mon. EA should sue themselves for this one.
Aaaargh. I think I am going to take a career in being a hitman just to get the cash to buy an Xbox and this game. Bl00dy well done Criterion, I think you may have made the 2nd best NFS ever. After Most Wanted, obviously. Brilliant cinematics... ...but why no challenge in free roam? I mean, an option to turn cops/ racers on/off would have been nice... or something...
the online mode is awesome. the single player mode is ok for practice i guess but i would recommend just playing online and the game does have a plot that is summed up in the opening cinematics. theres this county, where people are speeding, and the cops are going all out to get them.
