Why do you need more than playing cat and mouse,wanna race "real races" go get forza 3,it will be cool for awhile,then turn into work,then just plain boring,looks like the new need for speed will have that repetitive fun factor that is the recipe for a legendary game..critrion rocks,need for speed rocks,and chasing you down like the girly man that you are is gonna rock!

Does this game contain any regular races? The graphics are very nice but I doubt I'll buy it if it doesn't have regular races. They need to give players more to do than outrun the cops or vice-versa.

Hotpursuit without 'cockpit view' is not 'Hotpursuit'. I had some hope that this game would bring back the era of quality development to the NFS franchise. But the lack of giving us the inside of the car, shows the lazyness still present in game development today. Back to Need for Speed: Highstakes.

this is on my to-buy-list of games other than ac:bh. anticipating this a lot. the rest of the nfs series are total crap after mw came out.

I wonder why no one figured out that there's already been 2 Hot Pursuit games previously and then there was Most Wanted thrown in for good measure with enough similarities that it could have been called Hot Pursuit 3. This should be called Most Wanted 2 instead.

@ Skargamer its going to be arcade-ish, but also a little simulation type but not as much as grand turismo.

Hope the handling of the cars is arcade-ish and not simulation style.

I hope to be able to use my new steering wheel (in order shortly) with this game. Hope it's not like Blur- all you can use is keyboard and mouse which isn't helpful in a driving game. (Can't use gamepad with the PC version either, so I've heard from users of the game-I don't own/like gamepads so it wouldn't matter anyway- even some console gamers prefer a wheel on a driving game to a gamepad), doesn't make sense that the game makers would limit a game to that extent, would make more sense (and more sale$) for a PC version of a driving game to allow a wheel! Looks like a sweet game. If I can use a wheel with it I intend to get it.

This looks a very exciting game and can't wait to give it a go. Whether it will be the best racer of the year in a year that finally brings us GT5 is another matter. Either way I have already pre-ordered my copy!! :D:D

I didn't notice it at first, but now you can call air support and put spikes or bring a road block, look at the HUD, I can't wait to blow up my friends car with a helicopter, LOL!!
