Need For Speed:Hot Pursuit 2 For The Ps2
Ultimately this game features alot of exotic cars to drive and high adrenaline chases. Need for speed Hp 2 puts you behind the wheels as a dude or dudess "depending on settings in menu" You drive around beutifall and some not so beutifall tracks, and becoming The Turbolent Leader.
There are 2 diffrent kinds of storymodes:
Championship and Hot Pursuit
Both of them features a line of diffrent missions aswell as rewards
(Cars, Maps)
The Hot Pursuit mode requires you to drive around the track while avoiding cops (easier said then done when your going 300 km/h)
There is also a multiplayer mode that features nice competitive gameplay amongst you and a friend and if you have unlocked maps or cars in the career modes. This is the time to use them
Singleplayer is basically driving around a track with a car of your choice, same here, If you have unlocked maps or cars in the career modes. This is the time to use them
Championship focuses more on the driving and does not have chases and "Be The Cop Moments" But its a good mode for thoose who just like "the old school drivin"
Good: The game features a wide variety of exotic cars and highspeed chases, Nice layouts and Be The Cop, Funny scenes showing you get busted, Lap time records.
Bad: The Ingame music tends to get repetitive, The car physics may seem a little dull, Can sometimes be really frustrating at times like when smashing right into a tree with your car.
Other than that. This game is "must have" for those racing game fans. Many Need For Speed games have been created lately.. but none of them as good as this
Need For Speed Hot Pursuit 2 is still the best in the series
