Don't buy, don't play...don't even look at this game! You will regret it!

The game's concept (as is my understanding) involves racing cars of the 1930s. The execution, though, fails in every imaginable way.
Pop the game in and you're treated to a torturous loading screen wait. This last for a good 3-5 minutes. Literally. Have something else to do while you're playing, because your patience will be tried.
If you make it as far as the menu, you'll have options such as quick race, scenario, and time trial. All are pretty self-explanatory. Championship involves a series of races at predisposed tracks. Make your selection, and after another 1-2 minute loading screen, you're finally thrust into the action. All that waiting must have been worth it, right? RIGHT?
The graphics are horrible and belong in a first-gen PSX game. The cars all look the same and are detailed like 2D cardboard boxes. The scenery is a decent attempt to capture the locations and architecture of the era, but a few blocky, jagged buildings that might belong in the 30s don't make up for the bile inducing visual experience of this game.
Even worse is the sound. The menu music is nothing more than a MIDI file a 5-year old could whip up. The race noises consist of what I think should be engines, but sounds more like the screechings of a ill cat.
Gameplay is boring and control is non existent. Acceleration is fine, but once the vehicles get going, they're sluggish. Crash results vary unrealistically.
Also, each race (even the "quick" race) is 10 laps. One lap will take 3-4 minutes. The computer will zoom far ahead in lap 1 (oftentimes, driving THROUGH my car) with no hope of catching up. And of course, after the race, you'll have to wait another 5 minutes for the main menu to reappear.
I could rant on about this for hours. What it boils down to is that this game have no redeeming value whatsoever and should have never been released. Contender for the worst game ever. Avoid at all costs.
