First half of game is fun...then you get stuck...to hell with the rest of the game.

The first half of the game was actually okay. I got to 45% through career mode and got stuck. I already bought and fully upgraded the "highest" car I could and I still cannot beat a boss in a particular race. It is frustrating because the AI racers cheat. When they crash into me, my car wipes out and spins me in the opposite direction. Yet, they keep going ahead at full speed. The addition of the wing man is fun at the beginning, but in the harder races they are useless and get in the way. Assassins who drop spikes are ineffective, because they can't catch up to competition. Drifters are useless and actually whip you into walls causing you to crash and forcing you to restart the race. I put this game down for a year...finished playing Midnight Club: LA Remix...and came back to Carbon. Carbon sucks compared to MC LA Remix. Carbon has no traffic. City feels dead. MC has lots of traffic. MC features LA! Carbon is a made-up city. Carbon's streets are ridiculous. The freeway ramps don't make any sense. The streets don't feel real. MC car's are too easy to drive. Carbon's cars are too difficult and don't feel real. It feels like the car is driving on ice....sliding everywhere. Overall, MC is a lot of fun to play. I give this game a low score because of the poor design and unfair difficulty.
