"First off let me state that I am a big fan of NCIS. My father and I would watch it all the time. The stories were interesting, the twists and turns and feeling of not knowing what to expect and of course the characters. The always funny Tony DiNozzo, the loveable Ducky and of course the man himself Leroy Jethro Gibbs. I was looking forward to this game and was hoping that Ubisoft would show that these games could be good.

*Sighs* NCIS is basically a point and click adventure chock full of little uninteresting and unappealing minigames. It'd be ok I guess if the game wasn't so freakin' easy. You can't lose in this game. If you mess up you just get restarted, no branching storyline or working around your screw up. Maybe I've been ruined by L.A. Noire but if you screw up an interrogation I don't think you should just be restarted. As a fan of NCIS I found the dialog between the characters pretty interesting and it would have been better if the cast from the show had reprised their roles. But they don't. The only one who does is Ducky and he is such a relief to hear, that whenever one of the stand-ins says something afterwards I feel like I want to throw up.

The minigames are ripe for children because adults will have no trouble with them whatsoever, but the violent and graphic nature of the crimes means that it is set towards adults so I don't know what demographic they were trying to appeal to here. Whenever your tying clues together there are four options as to how and why they're connected. This seemed really innovative and looked very appealing but the multiple choice options are so simple that a reatarded, blind dog could figure them out.

The graphics aren't really that good either. While all the characters are recognizable they look awful with characters like McGee and Leon Vance being downright horrendous. Also bad lip-synching is pretty abundant in this game. I know that now I'm pretty much nit-picking but that's because as both a fan and a gamer I recognize that this game had so much potential that was not only wasted, but was taken and used by Ubisoft to wipe their rears with it and throw it in our face.

In conclusion, NCIS is a disgrace to its name and never should have been made. While the story is written by the writers of the show and stories in the game do carry the same interesting points of the show, and the character dialogue is pretty interesting and sometimes funny. Everything else falls flat. This game is not even worth 1,000 extremely easy Gamerscore that you can earn from playing this colossal failure."
