My first impressions are good. Despite what some people are saying, there are some changes in the gameplay, it is not all the same. Tipped balls have the chance to bounce much higher, and is now more realistic. I muffed a pitch to my HB and the ball bounced 17 yards back and out of bounds. I wasn't able to get online until about 11:00pm central, problems with the EA servers. Once I did get online, the gameplay was smooth. I am not sure if I did something wrong but only 1 of the 3 games a friend and I played actually got saved in our online career. I think when I challenged him I didn't select ranked game, is this selected by deault can someone tell me? Or did I need to select ranked game after a challange? Also, during gameplay I noticed you can juke and cut all with the left stick, Tackles are better and the momentum factor is a bonus. The big-hit stick, match-up stick, composure, are all good and I especially like that it now tells you User Sack and User Tackle for Loss, not just user pick. It even tells you User Catch, and User Big Hit! Sometimes the game seems to slow down, especially during big pile-ups in the middle, but overall the speed of the game is good. The stadiums seem much bigger, and I an unoffically 3-0 ( oficially 1-0 ) ;) I am playing on 480p, a 56" HDTV, with monster component cable, optical audio into a 400w 5.1 dolby digital surround. THe graphics are the best of any football game I have seen on my setup. The crowd noise and screen shaking add to the overall atmosphere( don't worry the shaking is not all the time and not overwhelming, it is cool!!). Ok now I have to go back to work.......... I am just having to get used to the small xbox controller as I am a ps2 convert.
