Who doesn't like a little football now and then? Even if your not a major sports fan, I bet you've played a NCAA Football franchise game, or at least a football game in general. Well the earliest recalection that I have of playing a college football game was maybe 10 years ago, i was 4, it was like 1995, which would make it.. I do believe, College Football '95? Maybe.. well that's what got me started on playing and getting interested in football. I now play starting Running Back for my highschool, St. Mary's. Anyways, that was introduction. Now, NCAA Football 2005 is a good game.. a GOOD game, not great. After several installments of this, I expected better. It's like hitting your dog with a newspaper "No! No! Bad Doggie! Spot! We go pee outside!" .. well it's more like "No! No! BAAAD EA Sports, We make better graphics, we put more detail into things!" NCAA Football will make a decent addition to any even moderate football fan. It seems like NCAA is just Madden 3 years ago and with more teams and college atmosphere. So this just feels like Madden 2002, with college teams. Franchise mode is obviously, OBVIOUSLY back. This is just.. franchise mode, that's it. No good, no bad. Whatever is good, there's something bad to bring it down, and whatever is good, there's something bad to bring it down. Player animations look the exact same. Which sucks. I like some of the features, like, you get to pick your celebration, I love doing that. And I noticed when you play with Florida''s rival (I forget who it is) and you press R1 and Triangle, or the Right Trigger and Y (depending on your system) it shows the touchdown players mocking they''re cheer and the little one arm move, I loved it. Wrapping this up... NCAA Football is a GOOD game.. but if your not a college football enthusiast, save your 55$ Canadian, and just rent it.
