This is the best College Football game on the market.

User Rating: 8.8 | NCAA Football 07 PS2
NCAA Football 07 is truly a great college football game, and is currently the best one out on the market. If you want this game, you shouldn't need to think twice before buying it.

Perhaps the best new feature in NCAA Football 07 is the Campus Legend Mode. In this, you are supposed to create a player and his position, put him through summer camp, choose a college, and your are supposed to play them through college. You need to do well in both the game, and in school. You select a major at the beginning. To do better, you must spend your nights studying, or visiting your tutor. Not doing well not only gives you less playing skill, but you lose many privaleges in the game as well, such as being kicked out of playing in a bowl game orf a conference championship. Plus, should you do well in a course, you get extra attributes to specific areas, depending on the course that you take. For example, one easy course may only increase your speed, while a harder one may increase your awareness, throwing power, and throwing accuracy, so choosing a course may depend on your position. You also need to be popular around campus. Some things that increase your popularity, are going to social events during night, or performing really well during the games.

There are also other game modes that are enjoyable. There is a Dynasty Mode, which makes you a coach of a College Football Team, Mascot Game, which plays two teams mascots to each other, Rival Games, such as USC vs UCLA, or Michican vs Ohio State and others.

Graphically, NCAA Football 07 looks great. The player models look fantastic, the terrain looks nice, and weather, such as snow and rain, makes the game look funner to watch. The models of the broadcasters, cheerleaders, and fans during the games breaks look nice as well. The game also sounds nice. The game has the College Teams Fight Songs, which are played during the menu. The sound effects during the football games are kind of lacking, but are still pretty good. The broadcasting is nicely done, but they say too many things over and over again, just like in many football games, like the Madden Series.

There is quite a bit of replay value as well in this game. You may try to play the best game ever, as there is a section which tracks the two best user games ever, or you may want to control a historical Campus player, or control a thriving Dynasty, winning the National Championship year after year. Though there are many people that will upgrade to NCAA Football 08 when it comes out, NCAA Football 07 will still be fine enough in the game.

Overall, NCAA Football 07 is a very enjoyable Football game, that should keep you occupied of a while. If you haven't upgraded from NCAA Football 06, or you have never owned an NCAA game, you really should, as you are missing out on a lot.
