The fun you'll have will be enough for its shortcomings

The graphics are same as the Dreamcast version, and it dosen't look very pretty, and facial exprecions are awful, but the are still a good amout of detail in the background and zombies are designed nicely. 3/5
There isn't a lot of music on the game, but when there is, it is good, such as the credits song, which is great. Sound effects are solid too, but the characteristic bad voice acting still there. 4/5
GAMEPLAY AND CONTROLS:
The game is a survivor horror. You play as Jill Valentine, the heroine from the first game, which is a great character. In fact, the first half of the story of this game takes place before RE2, and half of it takes place after. Its nice to see the story unfolding and how it is plausible how it took place before RE2. You also play as a character named Carlos for a small amout of time. The gameplay is similar of the first 2 games, where you explore, shoot and solve puzzles, but this game is more action based than the others before, and some of the puzzles are too hard. As the title implies, there is a character named Nemesis, which wants to kill you. He is frigtening and very memorable, and the battle with him are chalenging and fun, though it can be a little hard to avoid him at times. The only downside of it is that there is too much backtracking in the begining of the game, though its only in the begining. About the biggest diferences compared to the other games is the 180 degree turn and a dogde move, which are very helpfull. Also the game is pretty short, as it can be easily be beaten in 4 hours, though there is some good replayability. The controls are the same as the other game. You move Jill like a tank, press R to get your weapon ready, A to shoot, B (hold) to run, Z for the map and Y to the Menu. 4.5/5
Not much improved over the first games, Resident Evil 3 is a great game, which despite being kinda dated due to the graphics, sure is worth getting if you haven't experienced it before.
-Nemesis is cool and memorable
-Backtracking on the begining
-Nemesis can be a little too hard to avoid
-Graphics are sub-par
