I have played numerous games in the demo and now own full version. In live the courts look way better then 2k (they have a beautiful glare to them and look polished), the defense is way more fun then 2k , and the controls once you learn them are great. The play is very smooth once you learn the dribbling moves and freestyle passing. The crowds and arenas look great. The players also look very good however some of their eyes dont look great so 2k wins on that. Some of the negatives are the shot feedback in top left should be removed because it seems to be out of sync, Every now and then someone gets a little sucked into an animation but if u played 2k for years you should be used to this.... Also sometimes a small glitch will happen where a ball hits someones head or something but its honestly a great game and a major step in the right direction for NBA Live series.... I can easily see this taking over 2k within the next 2 years. I have been a major fan of 2k for a really long time but to me the changes in recent years just seem to be too minor. I've actually become a little bored with it. instead of everyone being judgemental I suggest you play them demo at least 10 times, mess with the camera angles, learn all the controls and realize that competition is good for 2k and EA.... Overall I must say I was really impressed. I now own live and 2k and must say 2k will be sitting on my shelf!
