EA sports continues the NBA Live series, this time releasing an even more disastrous title.

EA Sports finally releases NBA Live 08, a game which I believe it is worth to be played once or two, but after that the game becomes boring.

It is the first time after years that NBA Live is missing an intro video, showing virtual players in action. Luckily, while in the main menu, you can see some real players at their best moments.

The gameplay is not improved significantly, but this year's edition features the "Hot Spots", a feature that allows you to see from where the players can shoot accurately or not, depending from the colour a spot has.

The graphic are very good at times, but you will need a powerful system to push both graphics and performance to the limits, so the ones with older systems may be dissapointed.

Furthermore, the dynasty mode is very improved, and this time introducing the dynasty scenarios which let you handle your team when you are in risky situations.

Another feature I like is the addition of eight national teams, such as Greece, Spain, and the USA. I hope that EA will add more national teams in the future.

To sum up, NBA Live 08 is a good game to play, but you should rent it instead of buying it.
