Fun for a while but doesn't catch all the goodness of basketball.

The only thing about EA sports games is there is only one new feature, an updated roster, and very slightly improved graphics. With NBA live 06 the same applys, the only new thing is the freestyle playmaker abilty. While this new feature is fun for a while it still doesn't make the whole entire game great. In this game you'll notice a few glitches when you get down near the lane because you can't exactly see where you are. Also the back-court violation will screw you out of possesion a few times. All and all the game runs smooth though, with the exception of a few hiccups in framerate. I'm still waiting for EA to put out a good sports game though but if you really need to have a decently fun basketball experience you could use this to wet your taste buds for a while.
