Okay so, I've never been one to complain about Online in any game. Mostly because I never really play online, usually with friends here in my house. But I actually like this game online, and have had a lot of great games. There are a good amount of fun and competitive players online. However I do have a few gripes and well, here they are:

    1. Lakers. I know why, so I won't even ask that, but it's just stupid how many people pick the Lakers right off the bat. Sometimes I'll be in the mood to play against them with a lower ranked team just to have a hard challenge, but other times I'm just like "ugh!" and back out before we even get started. Also I've noticed that a majority of the people that play the Lakers, and only the Lakers, arent that good at the game and therefore are easy to play against anyway.

    2. The Unlockable teams. I understand it's fun to pick them, and the play as them once you've unlocked them. But why sit there and let me pick the Pacers, and then you scroll over and pick the NBA Street team....I don't mind the fantasy teams, but if we're playing fantasy teams, then lets each pick one so its fully fantasy and not fantasy vs reality.

    3. And last, the 3 point addicts, who don't dunk or shoot 2's EVER. It's more annoying than frustrating, because I can easily just pick my 3 pointer and keep up, but that's extremely repetitive to me and not fun. I haven't run across these types as much as others have claimed, but they are definitely out there.

Anyways, I still love this game, online and off. I'm not even that good, but as long as I am still putting points on the board then I am usually content. If anyone wants to add my PSN for some fun, competitive games online its: LilFnRoach

Regarding #3 - I have the feeling that stems from how single player works - the CPU is pretty good against dunkers, but can't play vs. a decent 3 pt strategy

(Just played online for the first time - wow the lag is terrible)

I feel your pain on the unlockable teams. It seems everybody I have been running into uses the Cover Kings >.>

I also hate how when someone quits on you, it gives you a negative on your streak count even though you're awarded the win in your record.

I personally feel that there are a TON of excellent teams and players that really negates any one team dominating at all. I also feel that all of the moves balance themselves out. Not one form of play or technique is dominating, There is something that will work against everything in the game so it's more about playing well. Also you can't be annoyed at people using the best teams because that happens with everygame, atleast here there are still a lot of teams and players, a lot, that can beat the best teams, unlike many other sports game. If you play NHL 13 you cant really be an average team and play the all star teams, but here you can. Also of course people are only going to shoot 3's, 3 is more than 2 and they can be easy to get off, but it leaves you with a simple defensive strategy, Defend the boarders and the midfield, and don't let the guy with high 3 stats get his shot.

Played vs a very interesting clippers user - very good defensive player - forgot who he used with Griffin, but was really good. Constantly alley ooped (no surprise) but also goal tended regularly to stay on fire when needed. Really kicked my butt (although I was playing random team, so didn't get a team I was good with).
