Entertaining in a different way than most basketball games
When you create your own character, you don't just make someone that looks like you like most people to with modern sports games. Instead, you try and make a goofy looking character, like a really old man, or a guy with a basketball for a head. It's mostly fun to play Hangtime in multiplayer, where you can laugh at each others silly characters and just have fun playing basketball.
