This game was a complete let down to me really this year. But it had some ups and downs to it.
Graphics: To me the graphics aren't great or bad. They are solid graphics and I think the 2k team can do better with the graphics. To me they were a let down. Some players didn't even look like them to tell the truth. Like Chris Paul, to me he looked liked a gorilla and looks old to me.
Audio: In 2k9 the audio is solid like the graphics. The commentary is what bothers me the most. Example, 10 seconds on the clock you shoot the ball when there is 3 seconds and a man in your face and makes it. You win the ball game. The crowed goes wilded and the commentary is like "ooooooooooooh he makes it and thats then end of the game" . There should be more emotion it that really. You can customize the sound by how loud it should be.
gameplay: I think 2k9 gameplay is more on simulation. I thought the gameplay was fun for the most part but then the horrible glitches just ruined the game. The games not only about shoot, steal, block. You have to choose the right move and play defense to win the game. The plays in the game are useless really because most times they fail. badly. Another thing that gets me made is no all-star weekend.
Story: No story due to basketball game (no points taken off)
Controls; The controls take time getting used to. But when you finally learn them you think its simple. i say controls are great for this game. Easy to remember and You can adjust them to your liking in the menu.
Problem: The only problems are the horrible glitches and how your teammates act on the court. They only move when you move. I wish there was a motion button
Overall a decent game. Hope 2K10 is better. :D
