A huge letdown for fans of the series.
My first issue is the truly awful controls. Shooting feels awkward and unpleasant. I felt like I was always way off with every shot. Also, dunking was so bad, even what you think would be a sure dunk would fail. It's a shame, because it feels like this game could have been way better with a solid control scheme.
My next issue is with these graphics. They are the quality you would expect from the N64 game. While the box art graphics are nice, looks can be decieving. Athletes looked nothing like their real world selves. Even NBA Live 2003 has nearly better graphics than this.
This game can frustrate you on so many levels, so just stay clear at all costs. There is no risk in buying it used for about $5.00, but even then you might want to return the game!!
