Can you say Amazing? If not, try astonishing, incredible, or marvelous! All of with describes this year’s 2K6. Let me give the skinny. I’m a sports gamer enthusiast, and I want the very best out of my sports games. Yes, I want all the bling, bling. September 28, 2005, I purchased NBA Live because the salesperson said EA was the way to go. I knew better, but this year’s product had some items I wanted, like Slam Dunk contest and 3 point shootout online. I started up the game, and I was quickly disappointed. So the next day I purchased NBA 2K6. Started the game and was blown out of my shoes. 2K6 has it all… I’ll give you my ratings for the two games: this is based on a scale 1 – 10 with 10 being amazing. NBA Live 2006: In-Game Realism 5, Graphic 5, Playability 5, Franchise mode 5, Sound 4, and Special effects 3. Game value: 4.5 NBA 2K6: In-Game Realism 10, Graphic 10, Playability 9, Franchise mode 9, Sound 10, and Special effects 10. Game value: 9.66 I kid you not; this game will have you up all night. I’ve invested 14 hours in the passed two days and I have not even scratched the surface of 2K6. Needless to say, NBA Live 2006 is in the dog house. If you want a great game buy 2K6. If they did this good with NBA, just think what they would have done with FOOTBALL… The graphics in this game looks like what EA is planning for Xbox 360. I can not imagine 2K6 in the Xbox 360. It's going to blow our mind!!!!
