Just as the title says, I strongly recommend no one buys this game. The game is broken and it appears no fix is in sight. Many aspects of the game that made it popular are either gone or changed (for the worst). These next gen systems are trying to force everything online and you can't even see/alter the contents of your hard drive (on Xbox One). Game saves and in-game transactions are uploaded to 2k's server and apparently not to your hard drive. Problem with that is that they're (2k) servers are absolute trash and crap. MyCareer is probably the most popular mode on the game. I've made several characters and applied earned VC to them only to have my saves lost or deleted by 2k's server. The latest is I receive messages saying my data hasn't been synced with their servers followed by syncing is not available and that I should play offline. However, a recent patch has made MyCareer unplayable offline so how exactly am I supposed to play it? Rather than fixing the problem, 2k tries to throw a false band-aid on the problem saying "here, take some free VC". WHAT GOOD IS ANY VC FOR ME IF THE SERVER WON'T SAVE IT???? Seriously!! Researching the internet about the problem, I see they are also more concerned with congratulating their cover athlete on recent awards and gloating about the number of units they've sold rather than giving their consumers insight on repairs for their unplayable game. I've reached out to 2k, informing them of my experiences and you know what their response was? SILENCE!!!
So as I originally stated, DO NOT BUY THIS GAME! If you do and get screwed, don't say you weren't warned.
