Cant progress in my career

So I saved and quit during a my career game and now every time I go into my career I have to replay the same game because at the end of the game I get a "can not communicate with server" message and it kicks me out of my career mode into the main menu. Only good thing about it is that it saves all my vc I earned in that game before it crashes but no way of using them towards my player since I cant get into my career.

I'm at a loss of what to do, I tried just exiting out of the game without saving and exit and saving at a different point in the game but I still get the same error message. Any thoughts?

Yeah I played the game about 4 or 5 times every single time I got the error so finally I just decided to play it offline and it works fine, just playing for skill points now instead of vc. Hopefully they will patch this and I can go back to playing for vc.

Actually it seems people are having the same problem on the xbox.
