this content is annoyingly unreal it sickens to me, but no I'm wrong, it has comparison. I just saw my Heat in the first snapshot and felt offended by 2K

Jeremy Lin continues his hot streak in this gameplay highlight reel for NBA 2K12.
@prodigest - yeah, we complied footage from post game footage that the game offers. The raw footage doesn't look as good or that dramatic.
@prodigest it may have something to do with the clips being the "player of the game" highlights of in game action.
xkurupt718x - have you watched` any of his games? he finishes w his left quite often. he just cant drive left.
28 points, 14 assists, 5 steals vs a very good defense Champs Mavs and most importantly got the Win..... Who cares about his 7 turnovers when he clearly makes up for it in all the other stats?
its great to see a player gets his chance, and performs. but the attention is a little to big. there are a few players on every team, who will average 20+ points with enough touches. and there are even more players, who will average 6+ turnovers a game, if given the ball to much. eventually he will cool off. teams will close him down. carmelo will take away 5-7 of lin's shots. also, split the turnovers with him.
It's great to see him doing so well. I know some of the hype is for marketing for the Asian market. At least he's actually a very good player. It's justified. The same thing would've happened if he was Italian or from another group.
Look, people. The hype IS justified. It is not just because he is Asian, turnovers or no turnover, he still had the most points EVER after his first five starts. Now some may say he's been lucky, well only time will tell. But, the fact of the matter is that 2weeks ago he didn't have a spot in a team ANYWHERE, no one had heard of him, his 2K rating was 52, and in 2weeks he has broken RECORDS set by NBA greates!
Jeremy Lin is putting these numbers up in his first games as a starter, which is dang impressive, minus turnovers. Sure, his numbers will adjust to league averages and his race and location most likely have something to do with his recent fame (you don't hear anything about Nikola Pekovic who's averaging a double double as a starter) but Lin is showing a lot of promise as an assist man as far as I'm concerned.
@smoothyplum26 yes, you are right but the whole point of this hype is the fact that the NBA is not doing well and they desperately need the interest and cash of the fans from China, as well as Asian Americans
@howie1926, he has had more turnovers in a 5 game stretch than any player in NBA history. And when the start to play better teams, don't expect the win streaks to continue if he continues to get as much playing time. 9 turnovers against the Hornets is beyond bad and it cost them the game. If he were white or black, do you think he would get this hype? I can tell you no. And that's messed up, just because there haven't been hardly any Asian American guards in the NBA he shouldn't be praised like he's the savior of humanity or viewed as an idol.

@ AdjustTo you're right, he is getting too much attention, and we are forgetting Kobe Bryant and Kevin Durant and LeBron James. Every player gets streak like this as Tony Parker (San Antonio Spurs) is putting serious numbers but he ain't a leading scorer ever. My computer seems to become Linputer :P
I'd like to remind you that almost every player in the NBA has those streaks once in a while, dosnt matter if hes a star or an average player... i bet not alot of you watch NBA but Marcus thornton (an average player) had a the same streak during the end of 2010-11 season, averaged almost 34 points per game, even more points than Lin averages now... everyone gets those streaks nothing speical... this kid gets to much attention...
I thought his overall update to a 68 was a little low, I was expecting him to be in the 70's somewhere...maybe like a 72 or 73
For those interested, the song in the video above is "Look Easy" by Freddie Gibbs. It's featured in the game but you can find the song on YouTube as well.
@smoothyplum26 Too much hype? This "kid" has single handily put one of the worst teams in the NBA on a winning streak. He deserves all the attention.
This kid is getting way too much hype, his only nickname should be captain turnover cause he does it more than any other player in the NBA and most likely why he was dropped by 2 other teams and never drafted.
@bleedgreen2-1-5 actually, it was Pro - I lost against the Bulls (they blew me out) and the Lakers (they just beat me). I beat the Heat by 3 while the Raptors, Nets, Hornets and T-Wolves were normal wins. The Knicks are a not a good team.
@Namgis Most people like assists only if they're full on dimes! There were plenty that Marko pulled off but I felt they weren't flashy enough, and detracted from the highlights being about JL17 too much for me to put in.
I am surprised he is somethere there in the game, considering where he in his career at the start of the season.
lolz i havent played 2k12 in like a week so i didnt know that they finally updated some of the stats which is a good thing, but did they fix all the starting line errors they had? like carmelo still being an active player? or chauncey billups still playing in the clippers? Idk wats going on over there at 2k sports but this year is the laziest year ever as far as the living roster updates go.
@Benifited - yeah, I did this before the recent update that moved him up to 69. We had to modify the lineup to ensure he was a starter and that he got the necessary minutes to get the all this footage.
if you actually play 2k12 then you know that lin is rated a 56 overall. so it took a lot of playing and ball hugging to get this video together. I know this cuz i play with the knicks online and the coach never EVER puts him in the rotation. and if you dont put it on manual subs his the first guy out on any dead ball play.
