NBA 2k11 brings about a complete new wave to basketball simulation gaming. The revolutionary new gameplay combined with the variety of smaller details make this by far the best nba basketball game yet. Impressive graphics and player emotions provide the edge in the only category that Live has dominated in recent years, while the fluidity of the gameplay and player movements is absolutely classy. Right down to Kobe's signature sizeups through the Jordan's high flying rim rattling jams, this game covers it all. Post moves have improved significantly, adding realism to the game. The defense has improved greatly, preventing the game from having only the strategy of driving to the hole. Now, a full set up plays have to be used just like in real life to be effective on the hardwood. The leaners, floaters, fadeaways, drifters etc make the shooting as free flowing as it has ever been, allowing you to literally control the character like they work in real life. Overall, the only issue might be that the increased difficulty makes it more inaccesible to less ardent fans of the series. However, this makes victory all the more rewarding. A terrific game.
