One game that you got to have in your collection...
okay so first of all, I just bought this game about a week ago, and I have to say its my first ever nba kind of game, and I have to say I was impressed.
When I got to the main menu I was amazed by the graphics and the many options one can choose from, for example, a normal game, Association Mode, My Player, Pick me up games, and some Sprite events, that include Slam Dunk, 21 point games, to mention a few.
So the first thing I did was to create a new Association , I chose the Heat, changed the gameplay options and got to the Association Menu, and I have to tell you that it had even more options than the main menu, at first it was crazy, actually it was kind of hard getting to places you wanted to check out, but after a few hours you get used to it, so it isnt that much of a problem. When the game started I was amazed by the graphics, a friend thought I was watching live tv until he realized I was playing, it was crazy. The gameplay is good, it has its cons and pros, for example shooting at first is really difficult, I have seen that its very different from past 2k's and I still havent mastered it and sometimes it does piss me off, but with some training ill master it, im sure of it. Another thing I dont like that much is that you get stuck at the first defender there is, its kind of weird. Although everything else is perfect! I really love the game.
The other main aspect of the game is the Create My Player, which is kind of cool, thought I didnt get very pissed because at everygame you have a teammate score, and whenever you do something good it goes up for a little and whenever you do something "bad" it goes down a lot, also sometimes you get penalized for things you dont even do or take part in, its kind of frustating, plus its extremely hard to shoot, so dont expect a walk in the park on this mode, thats why Im first getting more experience from the game in the Association Mode.
