Amazing graphics, equally amazingly buggy.

The graphics and animation is way better than its NBA Live counterpart. However, the gameplay still needs a lot of work.
There are several bugs that need to addressed. One such example is when the inbounding player steps inside the court when making the pass and doesn't get called for a violation. Cut scenes should also be minimized especially in the My Player mode as the game gets boring whenever a timeout is called and you have to wait for the cheerleaders to get to center court before you could resume the game.
Speaking of My Player, this is a great addition to the game as it emphasizes the basics of basketball. Still there should have been an option to change the length of the quarter because, let's all face it, 5 mins is not enough for you to achieve your targets.
A patch should have been released to correct this problem. So far though, only console versions have patches, and it sucks if your playing it on PC. If the patch doesn't come along, then I guess we'll just have to wait and hope that NBA 2k11 will be better. Otherwise, we won't have much of a choice between the NBA 2k and the NBA Live version, leading us to choose the lesser evil.
