are there any good f2p shooters other than Gotham City Imposters?

I love GCI, as buggy as it can be, it is still very fun and has a good bit of variety for a free FPS. On steam they have 2 new ones though, Arctic Combat and District 187. Are either of these any good? Also, any recommendations would be appreciated.
Also, is Planetside 2 any good? I never played the first.
Thanks.

Planetside 2 is nice, but fairly taxing on your computer. If you got a decent rig, try it out. If not, might as well leave it be.

Very true. It's fairly difficult to run unless you have a high-end computer. But boy, is it a whole lot of fun.

The other problem I had in Ps2 was the fact that it didn't really give you any tutorials or tips on how to play. It just throws you into the action and expects you to figure things out.
