Nascar 05 is a solid racing game that has tons of replay value. Chase for the Cup Mode is the main emphasis in the game. You start out racing Ryan newman which is kind of cheesy but hey, he gives you a ride in the imaginary "Featherlite" series where all the drivers are fake except you i guess. If you do well you get a testing session where you can graduate to other series. I like getting all the contracts at the end of the season. After you get bored of racing, you can buy teams in all four series. Lots of fun. The control scheme in Nascar 05 is pretty standard. R to go L to brake and control stick to steer. There are various "thunder plates" that you can unlock and you have the option to create your own car. A fun feature in-race is the intimidator and the less-fun share draft. Share draft is how you make friends on the track. What would be fun is if you could make friends off the track like having a couple of beers in your buddie's motorcoach but then the game would have to b e rated "T" Anyways back to the Intimidator. This is fun because if you hate someone in the game, you can get behind them and they spin out. The graphics are Gamecube standard.
