Not as good as the other games in the series.
New Features:
Nascar 2009 introduces a few new features, such as family play and the instant rewind. Family play lets you have an easier experience, and the quick rewind feature lets you rewind a few seconds back, so if you get in an accident, you can rewind and retry from a couple seconds back. It takes a while to charge, and it doesn't rewind very far, so if you get in a huge wreck with no charge, you are stuck.
Gameplay (9.0)
In Nascar 09, you can do almost all of the things you could do in previous games. There is quick race, Chase for the cup, season, Chase for the Cup (Which has the same name as the last few races of the sprint cup, but this is pretty much career mode.
Graphics (9.0):
The graphics are impressive, sharp, and smooth. The frame rate is very good compared to other EA Nascar games, and there are very few graphical errors. When saving on the save screen, the screen gets choppy, as well as when you are selecting cars for multi player mode.
Sound (9.5):
like all other Nascar games from EA, this one has considerably good sound. The music is decent, the engines sound good, strong, and loud, as always, the crew chief radio gets annoying at some times, but it sound good like most of the other things.
Overall (9.0):
This game is worth playing. It is a good Nascar/EA game, but I think you would have more fun with an older Nascar/EA game, such as Nascar Thunder 2004, Nascar 2005, or Nascar 06.
